Terms and Conditions – Barato Reservaciones

1. Booking and Payment

  • A minimum deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking.
  • Full payment must be received at least 30 days before the departure date.
  • Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit/payment is received and acknowledged by Barato Reservaciones.

2. Pricing and Inclusions

  • Prices are quoted per person unless otherwise stated and are subject to availability.
  • Prices may change due to currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Package prices include only the items specifically listed in the itinerary (e.g., accommodation, transport, meals, and activities where indicated).

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation by the client must be received in writing via email or letter.
  • Cancellation charges apply as follows:
    • More than 30 days before departure: 25% of the total cost
    • Between 15–30 days before departure: 50% of the total cost
    • Less than 15 days: No refund
  • Refunds for unused services (e.g., missed tours or activities) are not guaranteed and are subject to the policies of the respective service providers.

4. Changes to Itinerary

  • Barato Reservaciones reserves the right to modify or cancel any part of the itinerary due to weather, safety concerns, local conditions, or operational requirements.
  • Where possible, comparable alternatives will be offered. Additional costs (if any) will be the responsibility of the client.

5. Travel Documents and Insurance

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they have valid travel documents including passports, visas, and health certifications as required by destination countries.
  • Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be required for certain trips or destinations. This should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and personal liability.

6. Liability

  • Barato Reservaciones acts only as an agent for transportation companies, hotels, and other service providers.
  • We are not liable for any loss, injury, delay, or damage to person or property caused by circumstances beyond our control including, but not limited to, acts of God, government restrictions, accidents, or failures of any means of transport.

7. Complaints

  • Any issues or complaints should be reported immediately to the local service provider and to Barato Reservaciones so they may be addressed on-site.
  • Formal complaints must be submitted in writing to our office within 14 days of the end of the trip.

8. Acceptance of Terms

  • By making a booking with Barato Reservaciones, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full.
